    Guest settings don't stick

When I am using the "Ultimate Windows Tweaker (4.1.1) ( http://www.thewindowsclub.com/ultima...r-4-windows-10 ) and set the "remove shortcut suffix for new shortcuts" the tweak holds fine for my main account and for the Admin and MS Insider Accounts, but not for the Guest account.

Is this because the Guest account always reverts back to default settings when the user closes that account?

    Update:

I thought that perhaps this was a foible of the built-in Guest account, so I set up a standard user account. I got the same results. In addition if I set that properties in "Advanced System Settings / Advances / Performance" they all seem to revert back to the original settings as well.

So standard user accounts cannot be "customized? I am unclear whether this is intentional or whether it is a "broken" element of Windows 10 Build 14393.5.

Do you run UWT with "Run as Administrator"?

Joe, no. Would that make the settings stick?

It might. You might be trying to change registry settings that require admin permission.
