    Multiple system.mdw's (2000)

Is it possible to have different databases use different system.mdw's? I have one database that is secured and the registry points to the secure system.mdw on our network. I would like to point new nonsecure databases to the default system.mdw so that the logon box doesn't appear.

You can have as many system.mdw as you want, but I suggest to give them different names to know what system.mdw goes with what mdb.
To start an mdb with a specific system.mdw, create a shortcut with in the target :

    "C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOfficeMSAccess.exe" "C:My DocumentsDatabase.mdb" /wrkgrp "c:My DocumentsDatabase.mdw"

Note that the quotes only are required if you have spaces in the path or the file names.

I thought it could be done but couldn't remember the syntax.
