Preventing Cisco VPN Client from being uninstalled in Windows 10

For some reason Microsoft does not think that Cisco's VPN Client software works properly in Windows 10 (it does), and every-so-often will uninstall it.

This can be overcome, until the next time, by doing either a Repair Install or a Complete Install.

I can't find anything which will tell Windows 10 to leave this software alone - does anyone have any suggestions, please?

[This requirement will undoubtedly apply to other correctly-working programs!]

The current Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client should just work.

There's a workaround for the older Cisco VPN client which has been obsolete for five years:

Thanks, Bruce - that's the article I've been using (but instead I substituted the Cisco DNE software for his suggestion of Sonicwall 64-bit VPN client).

The VPN Client may well have been obsolete for five years - but I have to use it to connect! AnyConnect doesn't do what I need to do in my circumstance.
We use AnyConnect for a different purpose.

I still need to prevent Microsoft from uninstalling the Cisco VPN Client...
