    Win 10 anniversary update

Upgrading my HP desktop from Win 10 version 1511 to the new anniversary edition fails with error 0Xc1900200. I have tried installing as Administrator after a clean boot, but still no success. One message I received said "couldn't update system reserved partition". Reserved partition is 100mb, but I don't know how to expand it. Any ideas appreciated.

This article seems more promising than a more drawn out fix by MS -

Instead of displaying 0Xc1900200 the MS programmer could have displayed 'system partition lacks sufficient space for install, or has errors! Guess it's job protection to print out obscure codes thus saving a few bytes of space; or maybe they don't know English well enough to communicate with a user!
In any event, assigning a drive letter to the system partition and running chkdsk seemed to help along with expanding the system partition from 100 to 228 MB. Install ran smoothly but took a great deal of time for an update.

I've given up on trying to manually update mine.

It fails on the second boot with error code 0xC1900101-0x40017.

The only suggestion I've found that may work is a clean install, but I don't fancy having to back up stuff then reinstall programs and printer - but glad you got yours sorted.
