There's a nifty way to test drive different Linux distros without using one CD or DVD, and you don't have to "use" your friends or colleagues either. You don't even have to dual-boot new installs only to remove them later, either.

It's called "PenDriveLinux" (add a .com to that and you've got the website), and what it does is allow you to put the .iso on a flash drive rather than an optical disc. It's very easy to do, a lot less wasteful, and it only takes a few minutes. In many cases, a 2G flash dive is all you need. Life is good...
