W7 used Windows Live Mail. Outlook.com is web based and accessed via a browser and not part of W7. Do you mean the Outlook which was part of Office?

If you don't have Office, we need to hear why you think you've got Outlook. Which version do you see and where?

Your PC may have come with a free trial of MS Office which contains Outlook. If you have not used it, you can remove it from the add/remove programs section in Control panel.

Thanks for your reply. This is not a new or recently purchased computer it is not listed in the Control Panel and in my inbox up at the top of the page under the browser it says OUTLOOK MAIL.
    Thanks, Phil.

Sounds like Outlook.com web mail; so there's nothing to uninstall (except perhaps a browser bookmark). Just stop using it.
