    Potentially redundant C drive partition

My C drive (an SSD) has three partitions, according to Macrium Reflect partition 1 is system reserved (none) 81.2 MB, Partition 2 NTFS primary 77.07GB and Partition 3 NTFS primary 331.1MB; my query is whether partition three is necessary or just a carry over from Windows 7. Before installing the anniversary update I was able to make a Macrium image with all three partitions selected, but now I cannot my laptop stops responding and my desktop indicates a failure due to partition 3 both work fine if I untick partition 3. I have attached a disk management screenshot. I have posted this problem on the Maintenance forum but not had a definitive answer, however it is really a Windows 10 problem.
