Noted as a known issue in the blog. Not a general problem. For some a workaround is to plug device into charger and make sure it is charged to 100% before trying to update.

Doesn't it apply to everyone who tries to update from the previous build?

Has any user confirmed that makes a difference?

It does not apply to everyone. If you read the thread there are people reporting successful upgrades. Read the thread.

I have read the thread. The only people reporting successful updates are not updating from the previous build.

I tried three variations of the recommended workarounds (pages 1, 34, 46), but none worked; so I'll give up for now until 14946 -> 14951 gets fixed.

Sorry. I tried the first option on page 1. It took me a couple of re-boots but it finally worked.
