    copy linked table (Access 2000)

Problem :Copy a linked table into an unlinked table

    I have the following command:
    DoCmd.CopyObject , "Customers1", acTable, "Customers"
However, since the original tables Customers is a linked table, the
result is also a linked table, that is to say the table Customers1.Hence
i have problems with exporting the table. Is there any additional arguments, in the CopyObject command, or some other method to copy a table and convert the result into an unlinked table,or table without arrow?

Will be obliged for any help

    Use a make table query.

The only way to copy a linked table to a local copy is to import the original from the backend. Otherwise, use Francois's suggestion.

I am having the same problem. Did a search and found your solutions. I couldn't figure out why my backup tables kept turning to linked tables. I think this is the answer.
