'Enable Macros' on opening file (word 97) (Word 97)

Hi, I have a document which when I open always flashes the warning: Disable Macro /Enable macros. I like to make the document so that this warning is not shown when I open it. I've tried attaching a different template to the document but that hasn't worked. I still want the warning to appear for other documents so I cannot unselect the "Always ask before..." on the warning form. Any suggestions?

    Many thanks, Mike Cri

    Hi Mike:
Does the document actually have macros? If it had a module that was deleted, Word will still show the warning dialog. You could open a new document that has never had a module, & choose Insert/File & then insert this file.

Thanks Phil, the easiest thing in the end was to cut and paste it into a new file and then save it with the same name, as your e-mail said. Cheers,
    Mike
