"Failed to connect to the driver" indicates to me you should look in "Device Manager" for devices that have driver problems (right-click the Win10 logo then left-click "Device Manager".

DbxSvc appears to refer to Dropbox, but it cannot be deleted even after uninstalling Dropbox.
This error only started on 28/10/2016.

When did you uninstall DropBox? 28/10/2016? If so then it could be the uninstaller has failed to remove a Scheduled Task.

Or it may have left an orphaned service which is trying to start. Try Autoruns. Look under the Services tab. You should also check under the Startup tab. Something may have been left in there.

If it was only a single error logged on the 28th and you've subsequently uninstalled DropBox then the error may not occur again.

IMO most 'errors' in Event Viewer can be ignored. You'll know if you have a problem...

Rick, the error was first logged on the 28th, and logged numerous times since.

Hi Calimanco only these two entries:-

dbupdatem Keeps your Dropbox software up to date. If this service is disabled or stopped, your Dropbox software will not be kept up to date, meaning security vulnerabilities that may arise cannot be fixed and features may not work. This service uninstalls itself when there is no Dropbox software using it. (Verified) Dropbox c:\program files\dropbox\update\dropboxupdate.exe 17-Jun-15 1:40 AM

Any pattern? (e.g. at System startup or soon after, every hour, random, etc.)

Can you filter just on this error to give more info when it occurs?

Hi Rick, this occurs on system start up and on any reboots I may do.

Sounds like a classic 'WER reports error before service has finished initializing" to me... thus not a problem at all.

Hi Rick, I don't have any specific errors that I've noticed for this.
Maybe just put it in the ignore box,one day it may just go away.
    Thanks.
