    AutoHotkey

    Greetings
I'm new to this forum. But I have a question for anybody familiar with AutoHotkey.
Years and years ago (meaning XP) I had a small script that would close Explorer (now File Explorer) after launching a file (any file). But after XP it was worthless. I loved it and happily used it for years. Is there a script, workaround anything, that would accomplish the same thing in Win10?? I'm absolutely astounded that, after 31 years, Microsoft would not include this feature!!!!

Do you still have the script? Can you post it here? Then we can see how it worked and suggest a solution for W10.

    cheers, Paul

No, I tied to find it but the domain name is no longer in use. I originally requested the script in 2009 so I imagine its been tossed in the Intergalactic Bit Bucket.

Here's a sample double click detector.

    And one to close Explorer.
