    Windows 10 Update Disabler

    Has anyone used this tool? Get email from Winaero and it was this morning's article.

    I'm asking because many of you here are better at analyzing this sort of thing better that I am capable of. It doesn't look to difficult to use to me.

    Is it really advisable to stop Win 10's updates ?

    I thought from the reading, that it would allow you to pick and choose what you wanted. No, it isn't advisable, of course to stop updating.

    AFAIK you can't pick and choose the updates in Win 10 as you once could in Win 7 - even they get Cumulative and Rollup updates now.

    It's all or nothing.

    I haven't used it, nor had I heard about it until I came across your post.

    I may give it a try to see if I can control when the downloads occur, because at present it takes a number of hours for W10's cumulative updates to download to my computer,
