    Cancel Property (OXP 2002)

In Chapter 40 of their book, page 1029, Ed and Woody instruct the reader usng the VBA editor to "change the Cancel propery to True". I couldn't find a Cancel Property. I clicked on the Properties Window Icon and got the panel with tabs for Alphabetic and Categorized but could find no Cancel property. The list of properties starts with Accelerator and ends with WordWrap.

Am I looking in the wrong place? What am I missing?

TIA for any and all assistance.

    Re: Cancel Property (OXP 2002)

I don't have the book, so I'm not familiar with your page reference; however, they are probably talking about the Cancel property of a command button on a form.

Make sure you have the Properties windows displayed in the VB editor by pressing F4. Or you can right click on the Cancel button on your form and click Properties. In that window you'll see Cancel in the list of properties. By setting that to True, you are telling VBA to execute the code for that button whenever the user presses the [Esc] key.
