I found recently an Add In for downloading which introduces the WordStar "diamond" (the use of the CtrlE,X,S,D combos for arrow-up,down left and right etc) for use in Word97/2000. I got my old WordStar v5 out, out of curiosity. I recall how useful it was to use the number keys to select your choice when you are offered different word replacement options on a spellchecker. WordPerfect 5.1 required use of alpha-keys to achieve the same. As I prefer to do my work in Word with minimal mouse use, I'd like to have such a feature.

Has anyone here ever heard of any add in or macro that adds in a number key option for replacements for Word 2000? Can anyone indicate whether creating such a feature would be difficult?
