    Printing Mail Merge Recipients as a final task (Word XP)

    Hi folks
    A request for a simple method of printing the list of mail merge recipients at the end of the merge.

    The users want to file a paper copy of the std letter with a list of the filtered set of recipients. They want Word to print this list separately at the completion of the merge process.

    I know we can print this from the source data assuming it is an Excel or Word table etc.

    But it would be nice if a filtered record set could be appended at the completion of the merge.

    It sounded easy ... initially

    Hi Geof:
    I am not familiar with XP. However...

    Just a quick thought. Would it suffice to do a second merge, using the same criteria for filtering, but using Catagory as a document type, & just putting in the name field?
