Books & Learning (2000 or XP)

    Hi,

Again, thanks for all your help in my last post. This time I would like to ask you, what are the better books to get to learn Access and Access programming (VBA). My coding skills are zilch, and I know very basics on Access, and would like to learn more. I'm thinking of taking a course at the local college, but in the meantime would like to get some books to get me started.

I started off using Step by Step Access 97 Visual Basic, Microsoft Press, ISBN 1-57231-319-6.

Found it easy to follow an reasonably well laid out.

Try reading reviews on somewhere like Amazon, or failing that, nothing beats paging through the books at your local bookstorelibrary

Just stumbled over a fabulous way to learn this stuff, with a minimum of 'book-cracking'
    <font color=red>CDROM-courses !!</font color=red>

Virtually for the cost of a book...
It doesn't go as deep as the book, but if you'd like to save 6 mos studying,
do yourself a favor and spring for BOTH !!!
