    Whatever you're trying to do, you can't do it like that. A construction like Me.ControlName(number) is interpreted by Access to mean that you are referencing a member of that control's collection of methods or properties.

    It looks like you're trying to do the equivalent of a control array and there is no such thing in Access. In Access, you have to create a string variable to represent the name of the control and then use the following construction to turn that into a reference to the control:

    strControlName = "cboRegion" & intSomeNumber

    If IsNull(Me(strControlName)) Then
