    OE5 - slow sending mass emails (5.50.4522.1200)

I send out a short email once daily to around 100+ subscribers to an information service I run. I Bcc the same message to all at once, but have found OE is slow in sending the mass email, and lately refuses to send at all. I now have to send my message twice, breaking my subscriber list into 2 halves. (Excuse my lack of terminological precision!).

Any tips on what to do, please?

Check with your ISP - they may be blocking multiple mails over a certain number as an anti-spam measure.
It may be worth investing in List Mail server software. You will get nicer results (individually addressed mails), avoid any potential problems using a BCC (if the recipient is on a local mail server and the ISP does not add the BCC details, the mail can arrive with no recipient detail) and it will take the load off OE.
