    Outlook Express messsage (6.0)

My first post! Usually when I receive an attachment the past 2 weeks, I get the message: "OE removed access to the following unsafe attachment in your mail". It can be a web page sent to me, or a forwarded e-mail.
    What's going on??????????

not sure i follow... you disabled the setting that blocked the dangerous attachment and saved the attachment to the drive, but the attachment won't open?

that would be an issue with the attachment - i'm not aware of OE causing corruption. what file types did you save?

    Re: Outlook Express messsage (6.0)

disabled what setting? None of them are from a blocked sender. As I said in my first post " get the message: "OE removed access to the following unsafe attachment in your mail". It can be a web page sent to me, or a forwarded e-mail.
the warning is right below the "Reply" and above the "from". It has a paper clip in front of it.

Who mentioned blocked senders? OE includes a security feature to block attachments which can be used to launch programs or are otherwise deemed dangerous.

To disable this feature, go to Tools > Options > Security tab and read the options listed on that dialog.
