Windows Explorer

Using Windows 98 at work, when I select a few files, the window shows me the size of the group in the lower left corner. That is not happening on my Windows XP Explorer. Is there a setting I can adjust for this? If so, where is it?? <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>
