I helping my wifes kindergarten set up a couple of computers, one in the office and the othr in the centre for the kids to use.
Can I set up a profile on the kids computer, that when they log on as kids access, the desktop is locked down so the users can't make any changes (by mistake or by intent - there are some computer savy under 5's) to the setup? Ideally I want to have a desktop that has shortcuts to only the programs the kids will use and nothing else. I want to do this via a log on profile as the kindergarton wants the office applications set up on the kids computer as a back up in case the office machine is out of action.
I suppose another option could be to partion the drive and load each partion as either office/kids configuration.
Looking forward to your comments.
