    Get External Data (Access 2000)

I am hiding all toolbars on a database I have created and wanted to know if there is a way I can put a button on my switchboard that would invoke the external data wizard to import data into my database.

Than you in advance for any hlep I can get.

If you want to start from the point where the user selects a file to import and specifies a filetype, you can use this:

    DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdImport

If they pick a text file, they'll get the import wizard. If they pick something like Excel, it will just import (assuming the necessary drivers are installed) because Access knows how to handle it.
