embedded Excel tables not readable on website (FP2000 V22.214.171.12421)
I have recently been made aware that some Excel tables I had saved and posted into FP then uploaded to my website are not viewable for some site visitors. Some of them have Excel 97, others Excel 2000, and still others can view the tables onsite (including me).
I am saving the Excel tables as a webpage, adding interactivity, before importing them into FP. Is there another way to do it, which will enable all visitors to see the tables onsite, even if they do not have Excel 2000 installed?
What about for people who do not have any version of Excel - can I do something to ensure they too can view the Excel tables on my website?
If not, is there some way I can easily transfer the Excel table data into a FP table for uploading to my website? I have tried to do this, and the data does not paste neatly into FP table format - the lines are not justified, some add an extra line where there is no data, etc, and by the time I've cleaned it all up, it would have been quicker to manually copy the data from the Excel tables into FP table format (I want to avoid this if ossible, as there is quite a bit of data daily, and it is too time consuming to retype it all like this).
In a word.....HAAAALP!

If you want to make the tables viewable for non-Excel users, I don't think you have any option other than either to Import > File, or copy and paste.
What about publishing it as a pdf? - most people these days seem to have the reader, and it is free!Leif
