    Printing

I operate Win 98 Office 2000 with Hewlett Packard DeskJet 832C and I don't know if I'm in correct forum. Recently I printed an audio inventory that I had entered in Excel. I printed out a sample of Arial (TrueType) and font size 12 looked fine. I then went to print and entered margins, etc. and clicked print preview where eveything looked good. When I printed my document the font was smaller than the printed sample and nowhere could I find instructions on how to correct the problem.

Check - in Print Preview - that you haven't selected 'Fit to 1 page'.
If you have reduced the page width by increasing the margins and your sheet is wider than the page width, it will be proportionately reduced to fit.

I haven't selected ' Fit to 1 page', but I notice right above that where it has 'Scaling' , the box has 62% in it.

Right - change that back to 100% and you should be back on course.
(If you ever do select 'Fit to page' the % will change. I think if you then de-select 'fit to page', it sticks with the scaling.)
