Disable Wordmail in OE? (OE6)

I am running Outlook Express 6 and Word 2000 on Windows XP. Something has switched Wordmail on. How do I switch it off?

define "wordmail" - outlook express doesn't support what is commonly refered to as "wordmail" - the use of word as the email editor.

Wordmail: the use of Word as the email editor

My immediate reaction on reading your post was "OE6 must have added it". But being a suspicious so-and-so, I wanted to prove it. So I started up an HTML email, and looked at the processes shown by Task Manager.

Oops! You are quite right. Word.exe does not show up in the list. I was confused because a) the OE looks very like the Word one; I am set up to send email in 9pt Arial, so I couldn't see why the default was 10pt Arial.

Sorry about that folks, and thanks for the quick reply.

Do you want to disable the HTML or adjust the point size?

Look in tools > options. Send and Compose tabs have most (or all) of the font and format settings. When reading mail, fonts size is generally controlled by the font button on the read tab.
