Browser Tray Help (IE 5.50.4807.2300IC; ME)

IE is putting 2 copies of the icons just to the right of the 'start' button at the bottom of the screen. I think this is referred to as Quick Launch area or system tray area. Please enlighten me as to terminology.

Can anyone suggest why this is happening and what to do to correct it?

If I right click and delete an icon, it is deleted from both groups.

Any and all assistance greatly appreciated and gratefully received.

    Hi
Don't know why this is happening, esp in ME. In 2k and XP you'd go to
{Drive}ocuments and Settings{User Name}Application DataMicrosoftInternet ExplorerQuick Launch and take the extraneous ones out. Might be worth a try in ME.

If they're in the Systray (on the right of your screen) either you've selected an option when installing or running the app to put one there, or the program does it automatically. If the latter, you'd need to stop it running at startup by using MSCONFIG or similar.
