    PostScript Printers

I have installed some new software and one of the instructions says, "You must have a PostScript enabled printer to print". How do I tell if a printer is "PostScript" enabled?

    Thanks for any help.

    Re: PostScript Printers

    Hi
HP C LaserJet 4500-PS and the HP Business Inkjet 2250 (PS) are examples - the PS gives it away. Windows packs these, and many other, PS printer drivers as standard.

btw you only need to install the drivers for such printers : you do not need the printer to be present. For your Word doc or whatever to be made into PS format, you should choose 'Print to File'. The file can then be uploaded for purposes such as having it converted to .pdf format.
