    Print Page No. (2000)

I have the attached file with 2 macros installed-one to e-mail a single worksheet, and the other presumably to print the page numbers on each worksheet. The first works fine, but I can't seem to get the latter to work. Any help?

In addition, and I just noticed this-why does the file open both Book1.xls and Sheet1.xls? I don't think I want this...

Is that the right file? I can't see any code in it. Not sure what your second point is.....

Right. I think I understand your second point now. Revisit <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=xl&Number=109334&page=0&vie w=expanded&sb=5&o=0&fpart=>this thread</A> to catch a glimpse of what the problem might be. At a guess (hope I'm right here) you are opening the file called sheet1 by double clicking on it from windows explorer without excel open. This book1 that you don't want is then being opened by excel because you have placed it in the XLStart directory. test this by leaving excel open and double clicking on the file from windows explorer. also open the file from Excel - filepen or the button. hopefully now book1 won't appear when you open the file called sheet1.

Incidentally, if you follow Legares suggestions about personal.xls, I think you'll find it is hidden, so although it's open you won't see it. Of course, you could always hide book1....

Still no sign of that code........

Here is the file in my excel startup directory (renamed Personal.xls). The two macros still don't seem to work. Any help?
