    screen (not computer) freeze

Regularly the letters on my monitor screen just kind of fade out. Only a part of each letter remains visible. This has happened to me when using Outlook98, and sometimes also with Windows Explorer or FreeAgent

Not sure. But my first gut feeling was a virus.

    Re: screen (not computer) freeze

Sounds like a virus, but my system at home has the same characteristics at times... and I know my problem is hardware related. I have an older video card. Generally the problem only degrades the text, but at times effects windows, etc, virtually anything on the screen. First step I would take is to 'acquire' a virus-scan product, if that doesn't work, replace the vid-card.

    Hope this helps!

    Drk.
