Taking public calendar on the road ?

Folks,

Probably a complete newbie question, but anyway...

I am using Outlook 2000 in corporate mode on my laptop. Everything seems to work fine so far but I have recently decided that I would like to keep a copy of a public calendar "published" on the Exchange server while I am on the road.

Question: is this possible and if so what do I have to do ?

Any info welcome !

Why not trying [Right-Click]Properties/Synchronization
and toggle the "This folder is available" box to "When offline or online" ?
It works fine on my laptop...

Well, don't see that option here... Maybe because I am not working in connected mode ?

Good question... Not sure of what you should do !
You could give this one a try:
[Menu:Tools/Options][Tab:Mail Services]
Check the "Enable offline access" toggle

Hope this helps, but not sure of it.
Regards,

public folders need "moved" to the favorites folder before they can be synced with your offline store. after than, enable syncing as previously posted.

Mary,

Thanks for your message. I might be a little thick but I quite don't understand how to move the public calendar to the favorites. Do you mean drag and drop the icon ?

Regards

the favorites is the public folder favorites, listed right under all public folders in the tree - you drag and drop other public folders into it.
this only works for public folders.
