Free FTP hosting?

Does anyone know of a site that provides free FTP hosting? I've started using the Blogger services for creating my "thoughts and ideas" site, but my ISP will not allow a third party connect via FTP for uploading.

When I say free hosting... I mean exactly that. No fees, no banners, no spam, etc... free.

    Anyone?

    Chris:

Don't quite understand your problem. Any ISP that provides a personal web-site usually supports FTP access from inside it's domain.

    Re: Free FTP hosting?

The way Blogger works, is they provide an online post feature, much like a "guestbook" on most sites. When you're ready to publish, they (Blogger) attempt to connect via FTP to my ISP. My ISP doesn't allow the outside party (Blogger) to do this.

What I'm looking for, is an FTP service that will allow a third party to upload my changes. My only request is that they don't force banners, spam, or fees on me or my visitors.

Am I clear as mud now?

You can set up your own FTP/blog site from your Linux box. The sympatico FTP restriction does not apply to your own IP. They are only domain blocking their systems.

Ah... now there's another hiccup. My linux box is also my Windows box, and it isn't on 24/7 in either OS. I haven't yet setup an internal network that would allow me to have them running constantly.

I will however keep this in mind.
