    Word's Help File (2000/Sr1)

Is there a way to neuter MS Office's v. annoying behaviour with its Help window? I'm referring to its attempt to get two windows side-by-side by resizing your main application window when you press help - and everytime the Help window gets focus after that.
I noticed yesterday that this behaviour escalates from just plain annoying in Word to absolutely-f&&&ing frustrating when using online help when writing VBA macros in Outlook.

    Hi Jefferson:
Your response reminded me of something. Ever since I applied a security patch about a year ago, Help is much slower to show & "resizes" several times before showing me what I need. Does this happen to you also? (Thought I was alone).

Yes, my Help was excruciatingly slow for several months. Recently, for no apparent reason, it started working better. Very strange, and no one else reported it. Maybe an updated patch fixed it?
