    extra pages in report (2000)

    Hello,

I have a report that generates blank pages in between the pages with the data that I am reporting. Is there some simple thing that I have done that has caused this?

    TIA

Your page is probably wider than it needs to be. The page should be no wider than the controls it contains.

When a report as configured is too wide for your printer, it prints everything it can on one page, then it prints the remainder from each line on a second page. Since you are getting a blank page, this means that your report is configured wider than it needs to be. In design mode, just move the right edge of the report to the left as far as you can.

Thank you, that did the trick. Amazing how many trees that will save.
