    New Table Heading (WD97/SR-2)

I am trying to find a way to have a define two table headings in a document. The first table heading is the first row of the document, as usual. Then there is a row of text (which might break to a second page, carrying the first table heading over). A third row needs to be the second table heading, which would again carry to successive pages for additional rows of text.

The best workaround that I've found in 97 is to create two tables, with 1 point of space between them. Any other ideas on how to do this in one table?

    Thanks,

    Caroline,

Your workaround is probably the best (only?) way to do this.
