    Sub_WorkSheet_Activate() (Office97 SR2 win98)

    Here is an interesting little annoying problem. I have several workbook files that are identically constructed. Each one draws data from a different external source and each one has the same set of macros which manipulate the data and direct the user to different parts of the WorkSheets. If I open them one at a time or even by clicking on several together, I have no problem. But if I save some to a Workspace file and then open the Workspace file, I get an error with the following command:
    Private_Sub_WorkSheet_Activate()
    Range("A1:A1").Select
    End Sub

    Anyone have an idea of why this happens.

    Legare:
    Good to hear from you again. I will have to test this out again on Monday. Meanwhile could you please take a look at my latest post (on another problem). My interest in the first one was kinda academic but this other one has me in a corner. The title is something like Named Ranges.
    Thanks
