    Rules

When I send mail to friends, I want the sent messages to be placed into my "Sent: Friends" folder. Is there a way to prevent incoming mail that's also copied to a friend from being place in that folder? The Rules Wizard puts any mail SENT TO a friend, regardless if I send it or someone else does, in that folder. Thoughts?

Outlook 2000, SR-1. Yes, I have the "after sending rule," but it only lets me place a COPY of the msg into a folder. I'd rather not have the original in "Sent Items" AND a copy in the new "Sent: Friends" folder ...

i don't use rules wizard, preferring exlife so this may not work, but try moving the copy then deleting the one from sent. if not, i know exlife will do it.
you can also run rules manually now and again on the sent folder (if using OL2000)
