    Journal Problem (2000 SR-1 (9.0.0.3821))

Can anyone tell me how to remove 'Week Numbers' from the Journal?

In the Journal view, the week numbers are displayed along with the month date & year like this:

    "Week 5: January 27, 2002"

I DO NOT have "Show week numbers in the Date Navigator" checked (under Tools - Options - Calendar Options).
I have no idea how this got turned on, but it's very distracting & takes up a large amount of screen real-estate; I'd really like it to go away.

I assume it's a registry hack - does anyone have any ideas?

Did you ever get this resolved? What view are you in when you see the "Week 5:"?

Have you tried running detect and repair in Outlook?

it's something detect and repair will fix - it's a custom setting stored in the registry nd D&R won't reset it. All you need to do is right click on the month row across the top and choose Other settings, then uncheck the box to show week numbers.

Absolutely right MaryJo. Tried D & R - no joy.
Finally mentioned it to one of my least computer literate users who said "Well, you just right click the month, and uncheck the box."
Not exactly, but it gave me the necessary clue.
