Excel Date Subtraction (Excel 97)

I am trying to subtract 8/1/2001 from many different birth dates and the remainder needs to be their age. How do I do this?

Hi,
If the birthdate is in cell A1, then in cell B1 you would enter =datedif(A1,"8/1/2001","y")
Hope that helps.

I assume you mean their age as of 8/1/2001.
Use the undocumented DateDif function:
=DATEDIF(A1,"8/1/2001","Y")
