Sharing the Resource Pool (Microsoft 2000)

How do I share a centrally maintained resource pool to remote Project Managers to enable each constructed project access to the most up to date information? At the same time, I have to ensure that I can control the resource allocations in every other project that shares the resource pool. Is there a way of sending the resource pool to remote users and then accepting the resources back centrally once they have been assigned to their respective projects?

Re: Sharing the Resource Pool (Microsoft 2000)

If you create a project that contains just resources and their information and save that as the pool, then you share (tools, resources, share resources) for each project. Then you will want to create a "Master Project" that contains a Project Summary task (Tool, Options, view tab, check Project summary task) and rename it Master project. Then insert (insert, project) each project. You can then keep up to date information on all projects and review the allocation.
