    .PPS Extension (PowerPoint 2000)

I just received and Outlook 2000 message with a PowerPoint attachment with .PPS extension. When I D/C the icon it opens the presentation in the Slide Show view. I want to be able to make changes to the presentation. How do I convert it to a .PPT extension????

Just rename the .pps to .ppt and it will open normally. pps and ppt files have the same format. --Sam

Sam's answer is (of course) correct, but for future reference, there's no need to rename the file if you don't want to - the PowerPoint File | Open dialogue allows you to open a .pps file for editing anyway.
However, the default save mode is always .ppt mode (I think) so be careful if you use this method.
