Explorer command line options

Does anyone know the REAL command line options for the Win98SE Windows Explorer (explorer.exe)?

The syntax form that MS lists in their tips.txt document is NOT even close to correct or complete. (For example, /e and /select are incompatible; furthermore /root and /select are sometimes incompatible; in addition, there is no description of one of the arguments shown in tips.txt).

It's amazing how easy it is to crash Explorer by just giving it a wrong command line paramater. Apparently MS elected not to perform much syntax checking (or that just did a bad job).

If you can provide a source for the info, that would be great as well.

BTW, MSKB Q130510 lists command-line explorer.exe options for Win95, and NT4 (but not for Win98SE).

According to the syntax specified in Q130510, "explorer /e,/root,c:windows,/select,help"
should work, but it doesn't.

Thanks in advance for help!

Re: Explorer command line options

This site has a description of the correct syntax and a brief description of what the parameters do. However, it does not say which ones are mutually exclusive.
