    Remover Prefixes (Office 97 SR2)

I have spreadsheet with 30,000 Rows, Column A contains part codes. about 10,000 codes have a Letter prefix such as L141916300, Is there a way I can remove the prefix and just leave the code number without having to do each one individually.

    Fingers crossed someone can help!! <img src=/S/brickwall.gif border=0 alt=brickwall width=25 height=15>

In an adjacent column, enter this formula:

    =Right(A1,len(A1)-1)

copy it down all the way.
Now select the formula's, Edit, copy,
select the first cell of the column with the letters, Edit, Paste special, values. Delete the formula's.
