SpellCheck - internal v external?

Another chance to air your opinion. It seems a waste of time and space to have two spellcheckers. What do you think?

You left off one option: Get a NEW internal spellchecker.

If that was an option we wouldn't be having this vote in the first place.

Ok, then for those of use that can only get very slow dial up connections, how about making the NET checker local?

Seriously, that's why we've had both so far. Is the internal one better than nothing in these cases? If so, then we'll keep it.

Another category for the vote could be:

Dump the external spell checker as one can always cut and paste to, say, Word, to check spelling.

Internal spell checker can be useful for a quickee check, but if one wants a more comprehensive check, one could/should cut and paste into another tool.

Re: SpellCheck - internal v external?

One needn't even go as far as Word. OL and NS Mail offer spell checkers which are readily accessible while connected without badly diminishing PC resources (for those who need be concerned with such). I figure we should keep the internal for those who figure "quickee check" is good enough.

Most Loungers are here to read the content -- not determine content value based on spelling errors and typos.

Decision's made!

Ok, Thank you all for your input. We'll keep them both.
I'll now close the thread.
