    CD-RW software opinion

With my CD-RW came Ahead Nero's software. I also have Roxio's EZ CD Creator 5 software.

There seems to be an imcompatability between the two. I have both installed on my system.

    Question:
    1) Which one do you think is better?
    2) Is there usually a problem running both at the same time?

    Re: CD-RW software opinion

    1) This is really a matter of taste. I prefer Nero over ECCD. In the retail boxed version, ECCD comes with CD Spin Doctor which is a very functional app for transcribing LP's, tapes, and other noisy sources. After updating Nero with the latest version from the website, users also get a nice wave editor.

    2) Yes. Ahead provides a bootmenu to keep one from interfering with another. But it's only compatible with Win9x. If your version of ECCD is an OEM version, lose it.

I agree; the version I have of both are only OEM, lite versions. I uninstalled the EZCD software and no conflicts any more.

    Thanks
