    AutoText? (Front Page 2000)

Is there something similar to Autoext entries in FP 2000 as there is in MSWord? I want to insert, at the end of each page, a block of text and graphics with our organization's, ID, phone, fax, e-mail, etc. I have this set up exactly as I want it in a few rows of a table and would like to be able to just highlight the whole shebang and give it an AutoText ID like I can do in MSWord.

I currently have it saved as a separate page and just go there each time and copy it and then paste it into the new page. But I would prefer the automation of an AutoText entry. Is this possible?

There is a feature in FP called Shared Borders that will do something like this automatically for you when your site is published. I never thought to use it for the bottom part of the page; more typically it is used for navigation bars.

There is no AutoText feature. There is however, include pages which are a beautiful thing <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>.
Set your info up in a separate web page. Then refer to it in the page by:
    Selecting Insert, Component, Include Page
browse to find your page and insert it.
The beauty of this method compared to shared borders is that the include can be positioned anywhere on the page.

Thanks you, thank you, thank you! I already have it as a separate page as it was easiest to access it that way. Now all I have to do is use the include command and voila. I have to play with this program a bit more. (god forbid I should RTFM! <img src=/S/rtfm.gif border=0 alt=rtfm width=24 height=23>

I just found Cascading Style Sheets. I feel like such a dummy for not having found them before - I use my own styles all the time in MSWord. l should have figured that they were in Front Page as well. I just never checked. <sigh>

    Thanks again,
