    markup codes for SEARCH

Over in Word forum, I have previously searched by clicking the SEARCH button and using "keep with next" table and the AND option. That found all posts that contain the phrase "keep with next" AND the word "table".

When I try to insert the (search) ... (/search) tags, I can't get it to take.

Below I have reproduced several essays.

My original SEARCH (using the button at the top of the screen) produced four results. By the time you try it there may be five or more on account of my post in Word Forum, if not here.

    keep with next gazillion results

    table gazillion results

keep with next table NO matches

keep with next AND table NO matches

keep with next table gazillion results

I've just rechecked in the Word forum, searching for ("keep with next" table) without the parentheses and with the AND option set brings me five results, one more than my essay ten minutes ago, because my new post crops up.

How would I encode the search in the (search) tags to bering me the same result as I can achieve manually?

    Re: markup codes for SEARCH

The search menu option and the search tags currently use different search engines. Search tags implement a beonex search. I am working (slowly) on merging the features.

OK. Thanks for this. It'll be great to have a consistent interface.
