    2 hard drives

On startup there are two hard drives visible. When opening my computer and selecting the drive window there is only one drive visible. I recently installed the second drive, with all my previous settings and programs from an older computer, onto a new computer with xp OS . Now I can't view the data to transfer it to the new systems hard drive. Please help!

Did you change the "Master" setting to "Slave" now that it is not the main drive as it was in the older one?

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

If it was not the master/slave setting, did you go into your bios after adding it and have it auto select it. It sould show both drives there.

I don't have any idea as to what I did but during a reboot for another application there it was. The drive letter was moved to (e) but it's there and i have been transfering data. Thanks you all for for consideration and help.
