    Offline Folder File (2000)

Until recently I've been accessing an Exchange Server via DUN
I have recently retired and prior to leaving I synchronised my .ost file because I wanted my contacts

I then (rather stupidly) removed the Exchange Server service. I added the service again but it would not let me use the .ost file because it needed to initially be connected to an Exchange Server (which I no longer have access to)

Is there any way of transferring the contents of a .ost to a .pst?

    Any help would be appreciated

how long ago did you do this and what os are you using? if it's ME and less than 5 days ago, you may be able to recover the profile and connect to the pst.

I can't remember what OSs besides ME saves 5 days worth of registry backups (one per boot, first boot of the day so if you don't reboot often, you may be good for longer than 5 days).
