    Missing Menus/Toolbars (Word 2000 sr1a)

Help! Our Word 2000 is not displaying menus or toolbars. It appears as though it is in full-screen view but it does not display the usual "goback" button. Also, none of the usual menu shortcuts call up their respective menus.
We have uninstalled and r eloaded to no avail.

If F11 doesn't bring back your toolbars, then you should search your hard drive for normal.dot and either delete or rename it (if you rename it, you can still get it back if you have made lots of customizations in Word). Getting rid of your Normal.dot(s) will force Word to create a new one, and it should reset all of your toolbars.

One of the first things we did. Looks like this might be a registry glitch. We reloaded the syst em and everything is back in working order.

    Thanks for the response.
